How do I know if tutoring is the right fit for my child?

If your child is struggling with reading, it’s important not to take a “wait and see” approach, hoping they will just outgrow the difficulty. The truth is, children don’t naturally grow into strong readers because their brains aren’t wired to learn how to read on their own. Struggles in reading often indicate gaps in foundational skills, and without the right help, those gaps can grow.

What do your sessions look like?

Tutoring sessions with Miss Jess Literacy are play - based and engaging. We believe that a child learns best when they are having fun and playing. Not only do we want to grow their reading skills but also their love for reading! Using a science of reading based curriculum and interactive games your child will be making progress in no time!

How long will it take for my child to get better at reading?

Every child works at their own pace. We will teach your child at the level they need to grow their reading skills. Our main focus is to help them build confidence in themselves and give them the tools and strategies they need to become a successful reader. Every child learns differently and at their own pace!
